Is is normal to have an extreme fear of being restricted?

I have a really extreme phobia of being kept restricted, for example quite recently i got into a really bad fight with one of my classmates and we started throwing fists so someone came behind me to apprehend me and i just nearly started crying, kicking screaming desperately trying to break free, it looked like i just saw my family being killed in front of me, A lot of my classmates thought i was going insane and thats not a good reputation to have . it was terrifying I legitimately thought i was going to die.
if this is not normal does anyone have any advice on how i can stop this?

Possible claustrophobic, I am claustrophobic and being pinned or held down makes me feel like I'm never going to escape.

It's called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It's a process of exposing yourself to the fear in little steps until hopefully the fear will disappear once you see there is nothing to be afraid of.

It sounds like claustrophobia or being held against your will where you have no control over the outcome. You may want to try some anti-anxiety medication.

Try some exercises with a friend you trust. Have them restrain you for a set amount of time such as 10 seconds. He will not let you go for that time. Gradually extend the time until it becomes worrying but not out of control. Try and relax for the alloted time because you have instructed your friend to keep you restrained for the alloted time period no matter what.
