Is is normal to like beard hairs?

Beard hair in particular is really thick and flat and the shape and volume just fascinates me. Sometimes If I lose a beard hair I'll keep it around and look at it, flick it and spin it between my fingers because of how thick it is. It's just a weird bit of hair, idk. Anyone?
