So me and my female co-worker are close and people say we act like we are dating or a married couple.

Now I have no interest in this woman and she has said she doesn't in me, but out of the blue she messages saying she would really like to a movie a new movie that just came out.

I liked the movie and messaged back without thinking yes I would like to as well. She texts back when would you* like to see it, it was only then that I released that it wasn't in the work group chat.

I don't think it is a date, I just feel strange about it and should I clarify with her or will it make it easier to just go and assume nothing.

    I wouldnt clarify anything and dont get caught up in the word date. If you dont feel attracted just be friends

    I agree with WeirdGuy don’t mention the word date offer to pay or act romantic, if she doesn’t normally flirt with you she probably just wants a friend to see it with.

    It doesn't have to be a date. I've gone to the movies with platonic male friends many times. Just act like a friend
