    Normal and wonderful! I have a close relationship with my grandchildren and it's a very important part of my life.

    I don't care how old or young you are, don't stop being close with her, I'll bet she loves the closeness too.

    Yeah, sure, if you guys get on well then that's lovely. Warms my heart to hear it. Has someone told you that it isn't normal to hug your grandma? That person is a sick freak, stay away from them.

      I lost my maternal grandmother when I was about five years old, and my paternal grandmother when I was 39 years old, and I wish I could go back in time, especially with regard to my paternal grandmother. 😕
