Both my brother and my friend's uncle have one. I want to get one but they are expensive and you can't just get one in a pet store cause they are on the black market.
No one keeps a monkey after it's a year old, or if they do, it's in a cage somewhere and never gets out. They will destroy EVERYTHING. They will establish their place in the family by attacking everyone and seeing who they can get away with biting. I know. I made that mistake. Cute as hell when thy're little -- monsters when they mature.
Why not get a baby instead? At least a baby grows out of wearing diapers, unlike a monkey, which will need you to do the diaper thing for as long as it lives.
Dirty diapers, yuck!
