Is it childish to watch cartoons and/or anime when in your 20s cause ive been told its immature. I dont think some of anime is childish and immature

Hell no man. Cartoons rule. I still watch them, and probably always will. It'll definitely help when I have kids and they want to watch cartoons constantly, haha.
I know plenty of adults who like cartoons.
As for Anime... a lot of that IS for adults only. So it's not immature to watch it. ;-)

Screw that. IMO, cartoons, without all the "reality" BS and media sensationalism, are often the only thing worth watching on TV.
Also, with all the trash on TV... most if that drama we, at 20+, probably have some of that in our own lives, every day. I think we'd rather watch cartoons and forget entirely about our bosses, relationships, and money worries for a half hour, than be reminded of it for the same period.
Anime... no age limit. I think society has progressed beyond thinking all anime is either Pokemon or porn (or at least it's come a long way in the past couple decades) Go watch Ghost in the Shell and tell me if you think kids would even get that.
Also, no one is too old for MLP:FiM.
Im 20 and watch them but I always watched them. I kind of had to shut up about them at age 11 since at that time it was only cool to mind mencia and music videos. Not sure why that was the limit of what tv you could watch but it was.
Japan has a different culture. They produce manga (comics) for all ages, kids to adults. I'm guessing it's similar with anime.

It's totally normal if you watch age-approbiate stuff, and there's a wide margin on that.
If you are 20 and are excited about stuff like dora the explorer, i'd consider that less normal.
Many Animes and Cartoons, i love myself, and i'm mid-20s.
Who cares what other people think? If you want to watch cartoons, then go ahead and watch them.
well when you say cartoons i think about disney channel and stuff like that.. but for animes like death note.. its totally normal

People of all ages love cartoons and it's alright!
Look at Adventure Time or Studio Ghibli. People all over the world love it and it doesn't matter what their age is. Also, adults make cartoons. So, if an adult can make cartoons that they enjoy, why can't an adult watch cartoons that they enjoy too?
Did someone tell you that it wasn't normal? Tell them to stuff it next time and just keep on being yourself:)
im starting to think everyone on this website are still teenagers... i stopped watching cartoons at like 15, other then south park sometimes.. just because anime has gore does not mean its not childish.
