Is it still considered anorexia if I am abusing pills to stave off my appetite and not eat for weeks at a time...?

Every single person I knew with an eating disorder fucked up their metabolisms and are now overweight. By not taking in enough calories, you may wind up becoming the thing you're trying to avoid.
Either way you will end up very unhealthy. It's quite common for anorexics and bulimics alike to end up with osteoporosis, tooth decay and eventually tooth loss among many other health problems.
I don't know what the classification would be specifically, and I'm not sure that is even really important. But, I would say it's pretty clear you have an eating disorder of some kind and should seek medical treatment.
Yes. Anorexia is a side effect of many medications that influence the chemical release in your brain (like medications for OCD, anxiety, depression) of serotonin and dopamine. These medications can affect your appetite and discourage you from eating. You need to talk with your Dr. about getting on a medication that works for you and doesn't cause this side effect. Anorexia can kill you, your body needs fuel (food) to function and if you aren't eating, your body will begin to consume your internal organs and you can go into heart failure.
Yes it is anorexia. Anorexics will do anything to lose weight and keep the weight off. Haven't you heard about anorexic models eating toilet paper and cotton to make them feel full? Adderall is another thing a lot of anorexic sufferers take in order to lose weight because it is an amphetamine.
it depends....what kind oof pills? thats not healthy no matter what! are you abusing the pills because your an addicted or because you are anorexic?
