I feel like beauty standards and everything has shifted over the past 10-15 years or so, from white being the height of beauty, to more " ethnic " being considered the beauty standard nowadays.

Well, I agree to a certain point, fat, ugly, green, yellow, black or brown, everyone is beautiful in their own way. However, because they are beautiful it really is not right to encourage or accept being fat as a good thing.
It's not good for your health especially your heart. USA is extremely obese and European people aren't far behind. This is a health problem that may end up in a lot of parents, watching their children die before them. Never a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
I think ethnic people have always been popular. But it has changed in the way that women aren’t being body shamed anymore.
I’m not saying being obese is cute. But not every body is the same and we shouldn’t pretend like they should be.
You see it from teenagers a lot. Uber-woke kids who don't know what they believe, so they go with whatever they learn from other kids/the internet.
Long story short, losing weight is now seen as 'fatphobic' by many teens, and probably most of twitter.
beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, what one finds cute, attractive another find not so nice or even ugly thats what we are so all different
Tats on chicks seems to be all the rage now. I've never seen one I liked. Doesn't matter if she's built like a brick $hithouse - I can't stand the sight of it!
Dreads are kind of ugly on white girls. I also dont like the 70s homeless hippy type look thats coming back. I think in 2010 was when the best style was of my lifetime.
I respect your opinion, but I grew my dreads for almost 20 years. I ended up cutting them because they would drag on the ground if I didn't wear them up. They became too uneven as well, but they were so long, and they were fabulous. Imma white chick by the way
Dreads are amazing on everyone. I have them and I get so many compliments and I'm white. They're ginger with my bangs normal at the front 🙂 On Instagram someone came across a photo of me from a page where I was modeling a boho dress and shared it on their boho Instagram page and now it's all over Instagram you'd probably see it if you typed dreads so I'm pretty sure most love them.
Even older people give me compliments when I'm wherever store, beach, etc. I think it's dependent on how you dress and how clean they look. Mine are always clean and tidy, I trim stray hairs and I dress well.
I think these are nice. Looks cool on black dudes
