I have gotten kinda close with my Maths teacher in a family kinda way!!!She only lives up the road from me and she is always harder on me than she is on the other students like if I get a B she would kill me but yet if others get Cs she will congradulate them I don't mind though because she kept me back after class the other day and told me she was only scolding me because she expects a lot from me and called me her star pupil ... we've grown pretty close and she will always pick on me (messing)but I'm not too sure if it's normal because she isn't close with anyone in any other year and no one else seems to have this kinda family bond !!! We mess too much to have a mother/daughter bond but I'd say she is more of an aunt to me but I'd never expect her to feel the same way since she has a husband and two kids but it looks that way to me since when ever she sees me she'll always tap me on the shoulder and walk off glancing back winking at me just to see how I'll react even though she is voted one of the strictest teachers in the school and is feared by many!!! Two other girls seem to be jealous because they're always sucking up to her since they noticed how close we are but the teacher pays them no heed and they always pick on me now and throw dirty looks my way even though I'm the complete opposite of a teachers pet!!! Please no nasty comments Xxx

    Ye I no wher ur cumin from bt coz i no her outside of skul reli wel nd she brings me off 2 go shoppin with her as mi pay 4 babysittin it's kinda hrd 4 us nt 2 b clos since i spnd most of mi wekends with her!!iv been babysitn 4 hr 4 ages its nutin new it jst happend dat she turnd out 2 b mi teacher nd wen i sed "luv" u no wat i mean lyk nt in a gay way jst dat she's kinda lyk dat aunt ya hav dat brings ya out shoppin nd has a laf with ya!!! it's jst kinda weird dat I dunno wedr 2 call her ms or by her first name or wedr dis rel8onship is normal at all!!! no nasty comnts PLEZ Xxx

    You can be friends with teachers. Likely, she just actually likes you as a person and thinks you have potential so she wants you to do well.

    That said, being friends with teachers isn't normal but it's not bad at all.
