Is it normal : children cartoons

It's normal, they're better than various reality shows and most MTV programming anyways.

Tom & Jerry still make my day whenever I watch them. :)

Normal so far as I am concerned. It's a "simpler" form of entertainment where everything is exaggerated. From the sounds to the action to the plots everything is larger than life and many times more surreal.

It's no more "non-normal" to enjoy fantasy or sci-fi.

Personally I'm a fan of the old Looney Tunes and the much more modern "Ed, Edd and Eddy" (Sorry, long been a fan of slapstick style humor).

If people are giving you grief about watching cartoons as an adult, I advise you to suggest to them where to shove it, everyone's inner child needs some time to have fun!

Some children cartoons can have adult like plots. Batman for instance.

As a kid I never noticed it, but now that I'm older, I find that many cartoons like Spongebob actually have a lot of subtle adult humor.

cartoons rock, I used to find it as an excuse when I would baby-sit to watch cartoons, but its not all I watch
