Is it normal 2 like wrench wenches?

Hello Folks:

I am probably one of few guys in this World who gets turned on by seeing a female (preferably a fine looking one) fix a machine. I like all kinds of wrench wenches, or women in trades, such as: female electricians, female technicians, female plumbers, female mechanics, female carpenters, female firefighters, female construction workers, etc. I do not even know why I gravitate towards this category of tomboys, perhaps I have a tool fetish, or that I like to see women handle challenging tasks, just like many guys admire girls with guns and/or wrestlerettes. I am aware that women that work with tools are a VERY RARE breed, and many times, the women who are in these trade professions are often seen as "masculine", as they get labels such as "drag kings", "bull dykes", "butch ladies" and "lesbians". True, a large percentage of wrench wenches are very rough-and-rugged around the edges, but I have been hearing about a NEW crop of female mechanics, for example, that is made up of a spectrum of more "everyday Janes next door" to even "hot babes". Don't get me wrong, I have PERSONALLY done some work on my automobile, but I am no car expert by any stretch of the imagination. While most guys like chicks who can cook and clean for them, I like one who knows a vehicle's engine and who knows how to fix household eletronics and appliances as well. Besides, I have looked at many news clips and photographs from the World War II era and even from the 1920s, that featured various women working on assembly lines putting together machines, as well as working on early automobiles at repair shops. (Keep in mind that during World War II, so many men were already out there fighting the Wars in Asia and Europe, so women had to be recruited as a work force that was needed to assemble and maintain planes, tanks, jeeps, bombs, guns and other combat machinery during that time period.) Also, there is one woman who is a member of the machine maintenance crew at the margarine processing plant that I work at.

Perhaps this is an outgrowth of my fetish for all things technical. (After all, I am the same guy that asked you all if it is normal to have a thing for female robots a while back. Remember me now?) Maybe I can have 2 in 1 - a sexy fembot who knows how to build, repair and maintain things; how about that? What do you all think? I do know that there still ISN'T a long line of women to work in these trades - I hardly see any wrench wenches around here in Richmond, Virginia USA, that's for sure. To me, that is not much of a problem, I have already decided to make that sacrifice. Even though I do choose brains over beauty, I would still like my prospects to be at least SOMEWHAT AND REASONABLY feminine and attractive, and not overweight. Do any of think that I need psychological counseling? Do any of you even see me as "gay" and/or "fruity"? Let me know how you all feel about this. Thanks!
