Is it normal almost all collages care about is medical training?

I have noticed this when looking for school and it is irritating. Most of the schools only want to teach medical training. First off some people do not want to be doctors. It takes a long time and long hours. You have to be beyond intelligent for this type of work and some people do not find it interesting at all. No schools specializes in accounting, or psychology or science or anything else. I mean what about those fields? Are they not important to do too? Even if everyone is looking for accounting jobs they have hardly anything with accounting programs. Everything pushes for medical training. Why is it every wants you to go to the medical field? Even a lot of the high schools. They never encourage business either. Yes push people into a field they will probably fail at. Like that is doing any of us any good.

Where I work, about a third of subject areas are to do with human or animal health. That leaves two thirds for languages, law, science, engineering, humanities, art. There does seem a bit of a disparity but when you factor in such disparate jobs as surgeon, zookeeper, psychologist, optician, podiatrist, pharmacist, dentist, pathologist, nurse, social worker, population health analyst, veterinarian, dietician, counsellor, masseur, criminal forensics, oncologist, brain surgeon, it's a big old area. Not just doctors.

Less want to be doctors now with the insane healthcare law that passed.

Anyone who spells "college" as "collage" probably shouldn't worry about specific majors and will likely not make it through a four-year degree program anyway.

Plenty of schools specialize in other fields.
