Is it normal and facebook

I don't generally compare things with each other as I understand that everything is special in its own way.
But as I have spent most of my free time on the internet (mostly is it normal and Facebook) I couldn't stop myself from posting it.
I found is it normal to be a descent and better moderated website than Facebook. It has a vulgar section where posts are more sensible and less vulgar than Facebook.
is it normal helps people and encourages others to help help them.
The above is just my observation and just want to know if you feel the same way.

    IIN is the better site. Whenever I log into Facebook, all I see is anti-gay posts, religious posts, anti-atheist posts, people whining about how their mommy didn't get them the car(or other item) they wanted, people calling each other out through their Facebook posts, posts about what shoes and other items they bought, posts bashing the police about how they got a ticket for an expired inspection or something else they should have corrected, stuff their kids did, and people posting half naked photos of themselves. They get pissy if they feel like they didn't get enough comments on their useless posts, and they lash out in a completely different post.

    Whenever I log into IIN, I see good, drama free people. Sure there are troll posts here, but they're usually taken care of pretty quickly. This place also seems a bit slow as of late, but it's not full of attention whores like Facebook is and I can make a post about my problems and get good solutions that I can use. I prefer this place to Facebook any day.

      I don't have any friends on Facebook cause they just report everything. I just use it as means to save interesting things/thoughts. This site is very similar in that regard, I've posted a lot and over 50% of it has been reported and taken down. Ranging from kittens to rape, I think people even have me blocked so I am not able post on certain threads even if published anonymously. Looking at post from now and four years it is extremely repetitious the influx of threads, though now things are being reported at a higher rate and user feedback is at all time low. Not much active members, is just a tight nit crowd of people who are on here daily for the last few years.

      Sure. I feel almost same. It has been four years ago I had to completely stop using IIN because by job kept me busy. As I have lost my IIN username and password I logged in to Facebook to socialise and found kind of people described by you and was dejected by them. I have created this new account and I am feeling way better here. Thanks for your comment. I am glad that I am not the only one who feels this way. :)

    I love IIN because I don't have to see posts of other people bragging about their vacation,friends and life in general.Not everyone has a perfect life but facebook makes it seem that you are the only loser
