My cat always sleeps next to me. I find her purring extremely soothing and relaxing. I'm going on holiday soon and obviously can't take her with me. So I've made a recording of her purring and snoring which I'm planning to use to help me get to sleep. Is this a step too far or is it normal?

she is purring all the time. really love it!
Eh.. when my cat does this, I find it annoying, as her purring is too loud for my ears. I try to sleep with her next to my head, as she prefers that, but I wish she slept near my chest instead. So, I just take her off the bed.
I'm the same :) My cat always sleeps right next to me every night, it's very comforting and I love hearing his purr, it feels so cold and lonely without him.
I think if I went on holiday I'd need a recording of his purr/snore and a video of him to watch, and some photos XD
Awwww! Me too! And he buries his head in my neck. Soooo sweet aren't they?!!!
Aww so cute! My cat's purr is very soothing to me. She purrs very quietly though, so I have to rest my head against her side to hear it.
