Is it normal catching bugs in air

Is it normal to be able to snatch certain bugs that are flying around out of mid air?
Like grabbing mosquitoes or gnats that are buzzing around.

*** there's no consumption of said bugs either***

    No, but it sounds pretty damn cool!
    Imagine just snapping it right out of the air...I'd be like "OMFG WTF?!?!"

    It's normal- but very few people do it.
    But be careful, Mosquitos, flies, and other insects that inject may be harmful.
    Excuse me if I'm wrong. But I'm not sure if they bite your palm.
    I've never gotten any bites there..
    So go ahead and catch away. It's normal.
