Is it normal? constant writer's block?

When I'm laying in bed at night or just waking up in the mornings, I come up with great ideas for my blog. But when I sit in front of the computer to write something, either I forget what I'm going to write or I just don't feel inspired enough. It's like I don't have the right words to say. Hard to explain really. Does anyone feel like that? Sitting in front of a blank screen all day kinda gets dull.

Yes, it's very frustrating. I can only write my poems on my iPod, but when I sit in front of a computer, I often have no drive. Sometimes, I can't write at all. The longest I've gone without writing something has been a little over a month.

  • Yes.. I have this all the time, and it is the most frustrating thing, as I am in the process of writing a novel.

I am having trouble with my second novel, especially after the success of my first.

I fixed that, the trick is simple: read more about the world and do more stuff to be inspired. It's hard to be inspired by just sitting at your desk. If that doesn't work, just blurt out everything in your head (who cares if it doesn't make sense) and fine tune it later. Lastly write about stuff that you have a passion for.
