Is it normal facebook dilemma

On the one hand, facebook is useful for entertainment and information. You can use it as an alibi of how popular you are and to promote yourself to a large audience. On the other hand, it takes away your privacy, it accesses where you are and saves your individual facial measurements& info.
What's your opinion, facebook yes or no?

I had a Facebook page once, but my minions unfriended me. Now, they will face my wrath.

So let Facebook become like Myspace... empty and disowned. You know who owns Facebook? The CIA. No shit, I'm completely serious.

I don't like how it's becoming a passport to log in to other sites. I now have to maintain a Facebook presence if I want to use Spotify.

Every day I use Spotify I have to remember to click the menu option to enter a private session otherwise it tells everyone I know what I'm listening to. I don't care if people know, but I do care about the principle. When did privacy become an exception that you have to specifically request?

I don't like how it snoops on me. The adverts it carries are always peculiarly targetted to me even for things I've discussed off Facebook.

As much as possible, I make sure I'm logged out of Facebook when I'm browsing the web.

The biggest problem I have with Facebook, though, is that it makes the assumption that everyone you know, knows you in the same way. I don't mind my friends knowing I fell down a hill drunk, but I don't want my boss knowing it.

Damn you all and your popular social networks! Also if you are so offended by them taking your information do not go on. Better yet you have heard of not filling out information or just lie? You can only let people you want and know so I do not see why you are having such a major malfunction.

I lost most of my friends and a boyfriend from high school to facebook. I had one for four years but I got rid of it almost a year ago and it's FANTASTIC. I freaking hate it with a burning passion. All it does is hurt feelings and make people incessantly crave others' approval. It sucks.

    FIGHT THE POWER.

Facebook doesn't have to do all those things. I have a facebook but I rarely upload photos of myself. Even my profile pic is not me. I don't put anything private on it. I only have a few friends, mostly people I graduated with and know I won't get to see anymore. I think it is a matter of how you use it as oppose to something that is just bad. Now do I think 10 year olds and the like should be on it? No. When I was ten, we had to ask to use the internet, and there was no way in Hell my mother would let me get an account in anything. Now that internet has taken over, everyone is online all the time and it's kind of the new phone as well as everything else. I don't think people who are not mature enough to use it should use it, but I wouldn't label it as a bad thing.

I only use it to keep in touch with friends and family. There's never anything interesting on my news feed. I use Twitter and Tumblr more; I've made new friends on those sites who share similar interests. And I use Instagram to post pictures and look at other people's pictures. I won't be surprised if FB dies like Myspace did.

On another note, I WISH I could've bought facebook stock short (betting on it going down). That stock's such a fucking joke it's pathetic that anyone would take it seriously.

It depends on the way you use it. I don't actively participate myself but merely use it as a way to keep myself up to date and being able to keep in touch with people without wasting too much energy and time. If you don't update your statuses or share shit about your daily life it really doesn't affect your privacy too much.

I hate facebook. Every time I log on, I see useless posts. If I wasn't using facebook as one of the ways to keep in touch with my sister, I'd delete my profile.

I've never used FB and I'm not a fan of it. It's nice to get in touch with people that you knew from your past, but the shallowness, stupidity and lack of privacy isn't.
