Is it normal for a 12 year old not to be interested in love?

I'd like to think that it's normal. I mean, she's TWELVE.

Please let her be a kid and stop being weird about it.

Sounds completely normal to me. When I was twelve I was playing video games with my friends and rolling down hills and all sorts.

It's normal. At twelve I was still playing with my little sister and boys were still considered as ugly creatures from another planet. That girl is perfectly normal.

Really...? What's NOT normal is kids having sex at 12! Let her enjoy her life while it's still care free and happy. Relationships are a bitch. Heartbreaks, cheating, getting preggy.

I wasn't interested in the opposite sex at 12. I properly enjoyed my childhood whilst I had it.
There is no point in growing up too fast. 12 is too young for that kind of thing anyway. She may as well enjoy her youth whilst she has it.

I wasn't interested in love or sex or relationships or even talking to girls until I was 14. It's normal. People develop at their own pace, give her time :)

I was an anime junkie at her age, I wasn't interested in dating. Some kids start dating at 12 but it usually doesn't last. She's still young and doesn't need a bf. I miss being a kid and not having to worry about finding a bf :/

I wasn't interested in boys until I was 14. Sure I had some schoolgirl crushes but I never wanted a relationship or love. Once I hit high school I found someone who made me feel funny inside and who made my hands clammy. He was a few grades older but it was harmless. We dated until his parents decided to move NH because he wasn't doing good in school. Oh.. those were the days. Such innocence.

Love is omething that only you yourself can discover and when the time is right this will happen anyway.

I was completely clueless about love and all that at 12...learnt a bit about sex in school at around 15 but still remained completely naive until about 23 and I suddenly got it. We all become 'ready' at different ages, becoming 'ready' later on in life, even past 30 doesn't make you any less of a person the you are :)You're a kid enjoy being it, plenty of time of love all that later :)

I had my first "boyfriend" and I use the term loosely at 11. My parents made us break up ha.. They didn't let me date until I was 17 and my first real relationship was at 18. My first crush was when I was 9 ish

I didn't either when I was twelve, and then I turned fourteen..........hehehe not any more...

When i was 16 I still didn't had any interest in boys, so I'm guessing it is normal...
