I have a friend who is "dating" a 15 year old. They have had sex at least 5 times. Is this normal?? I don't think it is.....
Its disgusting.Most teens dont understand what they are doing and later regret it.
I think it's disgusting for people who are that young to have sex. what the fuck are their parents teaching them??
young girls and guys don't think of sex the same way...guys don't do it emotionally, girls do...so many girls think they can keep a boyfriend by having sex with them...sad...tell your friend hold off, 13 is not a good time to start a bad reputation
I started at 13 with my big sisters friend who was 16. I liked it and everything turned out ok. but I guess its not considered normal by society.
I lost my virginity at 13 (over a decade ago) and turned out fine.
However, I regretted it for a long time, and truthfully I would recommend waiting.
Sex at a young age is due to parents who don't care. Yes I said that. If women would put their kids before their career we would not be where we are today in many ways. Yes I said that and will again. What positive ever came out of children having sex?
It is only normal if A) you are FULLY prepared to become a parent or B)if you are ADAMANT about using protection. If you can't handle the responsibility then you're not ready for the pleasure.
I am a male and at 12 and a half I matured into a man. I was very horney but very healthy when I had wet dreams I made quite a mess.I knew I could make lots of babies. Some girls I played around with before puberty I meet them again after I matured.
They wanted me to get naked with them again.Nobody had ever told me about condoms.But ohboy was I horny and wanted to have sex with them.I took a cold shower and stayed away from them.I didn't have the mental abilities to be a father. Mentally I was still a boy. I guess that was good to do and take a cold shower.Otherwise there probably would be lots of cute little redheaded kids that looked like me running around my town looking for their father.
I don't have a problem with under age kids exerimenting but I do when adults get involved.
It happens, but I do not believe it's normal and I do not recommend it at all! I'm 21 and I didn't have sex until I was almost 18 and that was after my boyfriend(who is now my husband) and I had been dating for 6 months! I know sex is normal, but I also believe that a lot of girls now a days have a low level of self respect and just need/want to feel "loved" or be popular.
yeah its unfortunate that kids are having sex younger these days so yeah, its normal.
Personally I find it sad, but it kind of is normal.
My stance is: You should not have sex unless you A) use every amount of protection possible and B) are prepared and able to take responsibility for whatever might result from you having sex including but not limited to pregnancy or diseases.
I feel like our culture is too obsessed with growing up too fast and kids are becoming sexually active sooner and sooner because of it. At younger ages it doesn't seem like such a big deal because you feel older than you are. Looking back and even hearing about 11-16 year olds having sex is like hearing about toddlers having sex. It just doesn't need to be happening.
It's sad, but it does happen ALOT! My friend is 15 and pregnant, it's sad that we have to get used to hearing screwed up things like that :(
Has she thought about the possibility of becoming pregnant or getting an STD? If not, she needs to find out about these things before it's too late.

A little too young to be having sex, I would say anything younger than 16 is too young. But whatever, shit happens. Its normal to want to have sex when your a teenager, thats when your hormones are running wild and you want it. You could wait until your in your 30's and you wont enjoy it as much and you will have to take viagra everytime you want to fuck. Well, good luck with that. if your friend understands the consequences of not using protection(STIs, pregnancy etc.) i guess its okay but i wouldnt reccomend it.

Most of my friends were about that age. Not me. A lot of young girls are very mature, at least physically, but its too young I think. But what can you do, it happens all the time. I just hope they don't get knocked up or raped or taken advantage of theor whole life. Poor young girls. ,so misguided :(
its not 'normal', it happens, but its not ok, a girl at 13 should not be having sex, and the ones that do usually end up making bad choices in life.

I was molested by an older female family member at age 12, it was awful. I was forced to do things that back then seemed outrageous. A few months later her bf took my innocence.

And this was all totally normal for people my age at school, everyone was fucking each other. But now when I think about people I know that are 13 years old it makes me feel sick to think tht they might be having sex because they seem so young but then again it just depends on each person view on sex. To me sex is just sex, but to some people it means alot.
It's very normal for people to start their sex life anywhere between age 11 and 13. I think that's a good age to start.

Sex is normal yes. However if you arent old enough to understand what can and will happen without protection then you shouldnt be having it. Unless you wanna end up a 13 year old mom that is. Which wouldnt be any fun.Also my biggest question would be do her parents know?Because really its up to THEM to deside if this is right or wrong.....not us.
I do not understand what is there to 'regret' as long as you didn't get some disease or unwanted pregnancy.
As for the age, do you guys realize the legal age of marriage in US ranges from 12-15? Look it up and get educated. e.g in Massachusetts the legal age is 12!
Up until recently, most girls in the world used to get married and had kids before they were 18. Today everyone gets married late, which is one cause of population collapse in modern developed countries in Europe, Japan and white population in the US.
Now and days its not hard to get introduced to sex. Its not a bad thing... however its not a preferred thing. Best thing to do it just wait! Patience is Golden! I was 14 and hell yeah I regret it!
it is normal just use protection or else its very bad consequences of unprotected sex are much worse at a young age. I wouldnt recommend it at an early age just cause you would be more irresponsible and arnt educated enough...
