Is it normal for a comment not to show up on iin?

I posted a long, philosophical comment on is it normal on one post and when I checked with a browser where I was not signed in it did not show up. Is this normal?

    This happens to me too. Mods as well as the OP can delete comments. They also seem to get deleted by glitches as well because I have had comments get erased that I have no idea why they would have offended anyone enough to erase them.

      I have noticed they also automatically get deleted if certain key words are used. (such as url's)

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Yes, it's normal, unfortunately.

    Even though I think this site is great, it is so low-budget and that is reflected in the quality of moderation.

    Yeah, I figured that happens with long copy-pastes,but i guess it just happens with long posts in general, which is even worse. I had a pretty good and tasteful copy-paste comment that took them like a week to mod (which i'm surprised they actually did because it was complete nonsense and not a meme) by that time it's not really necessary anymore as the OP has faded to obscurity..

    I keep seeing it happen to. I don't understand why. A some of these posts locked? Since I have seen posts do this and they have way more comments than it shows are on the page. Like saying 20 comment and only 5 are showing up and nothing else written takes.
