I have a dog. She is a few years old and when we first got her she found her way to get to my underwear. She eats the crotch out of them. It's just plain sick. After a while, she took a hint. Our consistent scolding stopped her from eating them. Recently, she started eating them again so we have to try and keep underwear away from her. She's a big dog, so it isn't easy. I'm worried that it's hurting her. It can't stand the thought of her dying. She can't digest it either. You can actually see this in her poop! Does anyone else's dog do this? I'm not sure if this question has already been asked since I am new here. (P.S-The only underwear she eats are women's, I'm not sure why)

    My last dog would lick the crotch of my panties after I wore them, too. I think this is normal canine behavior. Kind of gross, but normal.

    My siblings does that too. It will take underwear from both sexes, it will take bras, and socks. It will even drag pants away and eats droppings. I do not understand why animals do this but mine does this kind of think with every kind of clothing item he can get his paws on.

    My dog does it too. It's gross. Be very careful, the scariest part is the risk of an obstruction... Mine one ate an ENTIRE box of tampons (which are made to expand and absorb liquid). I rushed him to the vet, or course,but I got VERY lucky, he threw them all up. The xrays would've cost $500+ and the surgery to remove them would've been somewhere near $1,000!

    A colleague's dog ate her bra. He's a small dog and she wears big bras. If she'd have known, she'd have had him operated on. However, she only found out when it passed through.

    As a kid, we had a female dog that had a fetish for gloves and female underwear (but not bras, this time). If people came in and took their gloves off when they were in the warm, nine times out of ten the gloves disappeared and nobody spotted the dog taking them. We thought maybe she was seeing them as a toy.

    We never solved the glove thing (people kept forgetting) but we did manage to keep the underwear out of her reach (easy for us because she was only knee-high). You might need lockable hampers.
