I'm 23 & I still suck my thumb. I rarely do it in front of people, but all the people that i'm close to know about it. I pretty much HAVE to suck my thumb to go to sleep. Do guys find this unattractive?
It is not necessarily normal and is a habit/addiction that is not socialy accepted and can really mess up your teeth. You should find some way to get rid of this habit, maybe talk to a counselor, psychiatrist, or friend about why you feel like you have to suck your thumb and hopefully they can help you stop the habit. I still suck my thumb on occasion. I'm 28. It doesn't happen a lot and the guys I've been with don't mind.
Is it attractive? Man, it's a fetish of mine and I think it's more attractive than most any other physical feature I love in a woman! If I saw you doing it I'd want to know you in a red hot minute, so know that there's other guys who probably feel similarly.
My boyfriend tried to make me stop when he first saw me doing it (He'd never known an adult thumbsucker before me), but now he either isn't bothered by it or thinks it's cute.
I don't find it unattractive but it's not normal it wouldn't bother me much.
My mum still does that sometimes when she's really tired or stressed out; she doesn't even realize she's doing it.
Thumb-sucking is not the end of the world, but it's a little unhygienic. Some guys even think it's hot.
It can ruin your teeth. And if you don't keep your hands clean then that might be bad. Other than that, if you're alone, then I don't see the problem.
My mom said in the past when they want a child to stop doing that they put HOT pepper on his fingers while he sleeping AND IT WORK !!!!
