I don't know whether it is or not, but sometimes I do things that would be cosidered OCD. I know that there are many girls with OCD but I have yet to hear of a guy. Is it normal? And if I do have OCD, than it's very mild compared to some people.
You apparently know nothing about OCD at all. Look up the illness anyone can have it. They had a show interviewing kids with this. Where did you read that only 'GIRLS' get it? Go look up the show monk.
unless ocd is strictly fellopian tube related, i think men can have it. Annorexics can be men too
Like I just straighten my books on my desk and such. Or I allign my pencils a certain way. But at home my room is a mess :P
Then I wouldn't worry about it. I probably have worse OCD then you and I don't really care what other people think. OCD is actually pretty common or perhaps it's just because I know a lot of people who are OCD and it could just be that people with OCD tend to attract friends with the same qualities. I don't know. Either way, don't worry too much about it. I still say its pretty normal.
And I'm the same way with the messy room. Though, it's weird because, even though it's messy, I can find everything just fine. Everything has it's place in my room, but it's not what normal people would call 'organized'.
OCD is a personality disorder, there are so many. But continuous studies show that we all have a little bit of everything in us, just some aspects are more dominant.
There is no reason why guys can't have OCD. For example one of my friends has it and he is a male.
IF i were you i wouldn't self diagnose. If you really want to know go see your doctor and get some tests done and go from there.
Any woman would be glad to have you as their future husband I can tell you that right now. Unless of course, she has OCD too. I think it's normal, but that's just me.
OCD is more common in women but that doesn't mean it's impossible for a man to have OCD. Howie Mandel has OCD.
