Is it normal for a school to make people take meds

Okay, well. I am in s small town, and a couple years ago I started failing in my subjects in school...mostly because I was growing up and I didn't like doing homework, I liked doing other things just like any other teenage girl.
My school thought that I maybe had ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). I didn't want to take the pills at home, so the school decided I would take them at school. I fought and fought but I never won. They would make me sit in the office until I took that pill! I noticed no difference in my performance in school, however. But I don't think its...how do you say it...LEGAL to force a minor to take any form of pill!

      They did she wodlent take them at home so there making her take them at school she really dosnet need these pills at all its bullshit..

        I see. It seems to be me the only way you could have stopped it, would have been to convince your parents that you didn't need those pills. Maybe they believed that these meds would benefit you and also wanted to be seen to be doing the right thing. I guess from a legal standpoint the school had a right to force you, since your parents (=legal guardians) agreed to the medical treatment and conferred the administration of the pills to the school.

    Oh and also I don't think that it's legal to give it to you without the parents consent.

    I have ADD/ADHD and Adderall works well for me. It helps me remember things too. I haven't taken it in a while because when it leaves my system I feel like crap.

    I saw this on tv before. You have to take meds if there's something wrong with you because you could end up doing something bad, like hurting someone. If you don't then you could be charged. Just take the freaking pill. People obviously care about you.. or are really annoyed.

      Ok Shes my gf and she dosnet need these pills her parents dont care and the school forces her to take them she dosnet need them they just think she had ADHD and that she dosnet get work done there forcing her to take them she really dosnet need them.. and she is fine and she woudlent end up hurting sombody and they dont care they dont give a shit trust me its hell were she is
