Is it normal for a woman to go clubbing by herself?

I've always enjoyed going to the clubs and dance with my friends, but I've just moved to another city and I don't know a lot of people here. I wanna meet some new people so maybe I should just go out by myself? I like to dance and I make new friends easily so I don't think ill be by myself all night. But i don't wanna give the impression to men that I'm looking for a one night stand or something.. I just don't wanna stay at home alone on a saturday night.

    I can go clubbing on my own if I feel like it, although I usually meet other people I know, or just make new friends.

    It's easy to walk around to suss the place out ~ even say you've lost a friend in the crowd. Never leave your drink down ~ in case you get spiked. If you sense any trouble, leave at once. I usually make new friends in the ladies' bathroom where there's some female crying about the actions of some man.

    I'm surprised no one has mentioned how dangerous it is for a woman (or a man in some cases) to wander alone after clubbing.

    I would advise you to not go clubbing alone, instead wait until you make a few friends from work or if you join a hobby class or something. Don't put yourself at unnecessary risk.

    I'd recommend checking out the area first. And not drinking.

    why? Because you plan to get home without wrecking your car I'm assuming and nothing's more attractive than someone who uses their brains when partying.
