JUST WONDERING, because I work at a call center and I am a baby!! All my co-workers are 24+ (I'd say 26-31 is the average age).

    Yes, very normal. Most call centres have a high employee turnover and low skill requirement which suits a lot of students around your age looking for part-time temp work.

    Yes. I used to work at a call center when I was 17-18 and thought it was weird because everyone in my department was quite a bit older. Since then, I've found many college students who go for call center jobs for the flexibility.

    Yeah, most of the call center employees I know are either young students, single Moms who need work that pays better than minimum wage and has flexible hours and stoners who need to pay their bills.

    You are not a baby. I worked in a call centre for a year when I was 26 years old and half of my coworkers on my team were 18-20 years old.
