I'm almost 22 and have guinea pigs as pets. I even keep them in my apartment near the college I go to. I had told someone about having guinea pigs as pets and they were "really, isn't that more of a childs pet?!" I think they are adorable little fuzzy rodents, why can't I have guinea pigs.

I think its normal...if youre allergic to cats and dogs and you want something thats entertaining ......you have that choice
I treat my cat like a prince and a baby. Like a baby prince. I wonder if that's normal all the time. so your guinea pig thing, is normal in my books.
Why would it not be normal to have any animals as pets? Guinea pigs are cute. :)
Nyawwww, of course it's normal!!! Guinea pigs are precious! Hell, I have a hamster (those are commonly considered "children's" pets)and she is the most precious thing ever. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having any kind of pet that you love and adore! ^_^
Yeah, some people don't have room for a larger pet or like something smaller. Completely normal.
