Is it normal for boyfriends to enter the bathroom when gf is in there?

I've had 3 different boyfriends (not all at once!) who for NO good reason would come into the bathroom when I was in there. This was at the very beginning stage of the relationship, too! It would happen both when I was taking a leak/dump and when showering. It made me afraid to go to the bathroom whether there was a lock on the door or not! OK, yeah, I suppose a guy might want to peek in on the shower (which is sorta rude and annoying tho sometimes) but it seems bizarre to me that they'd try to come in when their gf is using the toilet.

I don't get it?!?!?!

Guys, do you do this? If yes, WHY????

Girls, has a boyfriend done this to you?

I'm a guy, I don't do this. 62

I'm a girl and I wouldn't mind if my boyfriend came in. It's something I like...

Oh common when you share the level of intimacy where you've already seen and touched each other's genitals where's the big deal? It's only erotic and an increase of intimacy. I do this too.

No, I never have. At the beginning of a relationship, you don't know what the boundaries are so you don't just assume you can do whatever you want. Hopefully, anyway. You start by erring on the side of caution.

For me personally, I've never really shared a bathroom that way. Most of the people I've been with have preferred privacy. I don't mind either way but I really don't see the need to intrude on girlfriends unless they ask for my presence. In which case, it's not intrusion.

My girlfriend is welcomed in the bathroom unannounced while I am showering, provided that she removes all of her clothing first.

If you didn't let them watch you poo, that's probably why they are your boyfriends anymore.

No. Why? It is rude to disrespect privacy. Why would they?

Expressing a sexist attitude of male entitlement at your expense would be my guess. Primitives marking territory - what uncivilized boors.

Good thing these boyfriends are in the past tense. Some of these self-entitled louts are capable of worse than barging into the can while you're using it.

    • If I were you, I would not worry so much about it. This sexist attitude of male entitlement has never been used against you because no man has ever wanted to see you naked. Your language crippled by feminism reveals that you are quite an ugly fat bitch and nobody would ever want to see such a monster in the bathroom. No need to worry about that, you are safe, Ms Ugly.

That you feel entitled to hurl such shockingly stupid invectives here and elsewhere illustrates my point.

        • May I ask you why you have deleted several of your comments in other threads over the last few days?
In fact, it might be a good sign that you have already realised that your comments are stupid and pointless. Or is it just another tactical step in your holy war against males?

I've noticed the disappearance of some of her comments as well. I must admit I even started to miss those stupid comments. Damn it! IIN is less fun for me without them and there is no real rival who could produce such a good piece of shit :(

            • Do not worry, she will definitely produce new masterpieces as soon as possible, especially now when she can see that someone misses her comments. We will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the fun. Meanwhile, you can flick through the self-help book titled "Feminism for beginners" and you will find there plenty of other masterpieces of comparable quality.

You don't intimidate me nor does what you say matter. You're a bellicose ass. Are you done?

            • No, I am not done. I am still waiting for your answer why you delete your comments, my little girl.
You should answer the question because it was asked by a Man, so please stop being a stubborn little bitch. Do not forget - I am a man and I am entitled to having my questions answered.

Oh, and do not dare to delete any of your comments above because it would mean that also my precious and wise comments would disappear - then I would be really angry with you.

              So now, listen to me.
You must do two things immediately:
              1.Apologize to me!
              2.Answer my question!

I wouldn't do it at the beginning of the relationship, because of the very reasons you explain. But you have to admit, girl... it is rather hot!

If a girl is taking a shit I don't want to be in there but I guess they're curious or are trying to see what they can get away with if you let them. I have a pee fetish because it's just cute the way girls sit and pee idk I blame my childhood lol. Make your boundaries clear that you don't want to be eeked out by what ever perverted fascination they have. It's fifty fifty on normal

She can come in the bathroom when ever she wants. She just has to deal with the consequent smell if I am taking a number "2." If I am in the shower, it makes no difference to me since we see one another naked all the time. I try not to walk in on my girlfriend but if I need something, she does not mind and I do not get in the way. This rarely happens.

It would depend on how serious the relationship is and the privacy/intimacy levels you are both okay with. I think it's best to knock in the beginning stages of the relationship instead of barging in. If you can't lock your door, you could either barricade the door with something like the clothes hamper/chair or stick a "occupied" sign on the doorknob.

Gross. In the early stages the other person should always wait for you to leave, or at least knock.

Don't bathrooms usually have locks? I would never go in if I knew someone was in there, that's just rude. But if the door is unlocked, how are they to know?

    • Strangely, I think every single place I've lived hasn't had a reliable lock, or any lock at all. Same with these guys places! When they'd barge in, they were doing it on purpose not by accident, and I don't understand why someone would do this. It was like, I'd get up to go to the bathroom, they knew where I was going, and 2 seconds later they were coming in the door. This is so confusing, esp since it happened with 3 different guys! WHY?!?!

Depending on the situation and guy it might not be the case. Do they come in and brush their teeth or do they just forget your in the bathroom? My brother always walks in on everyone. So this use to happen. Also in some families people will shower while others go to the bathroom. So I think it is either that or an accident. How do they react when you freak out. I would not be surprised if a guy was just like "So I needed to get my toothbrush" Since some guys are just like that. They do not see anything as a big deal. It might just be he does not see it as a big deal and his guy friends would not care. So he treating you like one of his guy friends. Guys do not care as much about these type of things. Not as much as women do.
