Is it normal for fear inducing sports to be calming?

I have always loved 'dangerous' sports. Anything that involves high speed or acrobatics is appealing to me. I find a strange immersion like that. Perfect concentration, good coordination. I cease thinking and feel by intuition or something. I'm terrible at boring games. I have to force concentration. Give me something scary, and my brain and body work fluidly. I like rock climbing. I love tall heights. I do a lot of off-road biking. I like trails with jumps. Makes me happy. A year ago, I went skydiving, I could have fallen asleep from the jump. It was the most relaxing thing. I did 3 jumps back to back. Not on my own, I was a newbie. I do want to do it again.

Get this? I'm not always that calm. That's what makes this strange. I should be in the military.

Ah, the perks of being an adrenaline junkie. The "calmness in chaos" part is very uncommon but normal. Are you a person who thrives under pressure too?

Because normal life is way too boring.

Maybe you should become a stock car racer or a daredevil.

    Military is not the answer.
