Is it normal for food to get stuck in your throat?

Whenever I eat solid foods I can feel the chewed up pieces chilling in my throat until I drink something to wash it down. It's not big chunks that choke me or anything, they're just small uncomfortable pieces of bread or potatoes or something.

Sometimes if I eat crackers or bread and I eat fast, that kinda happens to me.

Chew more to wet it with saliva before you swallow. Chewing is the fitst step in digesting your food - so chew it well.
