Is it normal for guys to shave leg & arm hair during summer?

Summer is approaching and the humidity where I live makes it un-bearable. It's like being in a hot tub in 25 degree Celcius weather. First off I'm just wondering if it cools you down because I have no air conditioner and I'm getting desperate. Is it worth the hassle or is there no difference.

Also I'd like to know if anyone else does this.

Not sure if this helps, but I remember my brother shaved his hair off a few summers ago to try to keep cool, he said it it did nothing to cool him down.

It's your fault for living in a communist country. Freedom-lovers would measure that as a 77 degree hot tub.

I shave my arms, legs, chest and underarms regardless being summer or winter, just love the feeling of being smooth. Something I've now done for 19 years and will keep on doing so.

While I don't think it will keep you any cooler, if you want to try it, try it! It'll grow back (at the same thickness, don't let anyone tell you different) and if you like the feel of having smooth legs and arms and stuff, keep doing it. You do you.

It won't cool you down, you'll just be hot and itchy. Yuck!

I am not a big fan of body hair at all really but I feel like shaving too much off could be bad . The hair is a way for your body to sweat so it could make you hotter or cause issues .
