Is it normal for hen to peck other hens for no reason .

I have a pet hen. She has been with me for 7 years. but she is also quite mean. Never been nice to the other chickens I have . I wonder why is that.

    She ranks higher in the Pecking Order and she shows her dominance over the other chickens by pecking them.
