Is it normal for japan kids to eat in the classroom ?

Hey, I do not know if thier is anyone who knows anything about japan or is native to japan on this site . I have a question though for anyone who can awnser this . Is it normal for japan students to eat in the classroom ? I mean where I am from we are usually sitting in a cafetaria or just random areas around the campus unless we have a club or something at lunch and the only kids who usually eat in class are the bandroom kids and only the band room kids are allowed in that room . I have noticed in most the anime with modern day japan children during lunch most the students will just switch thier chiars around and start eating together in the classroom . I am just wondering is this common over thier ? Is it something they made up from anime or is it just part of thier culture that would seem odd to other countrys? I not trying be rude to Japan by the way I just know you can partly tell the customs from poeples tv as whats ordinary to them will be potrayed as in shows from other countrys the same will be protrayed . So does anyone know Ill take any awnsers . Thanks to everyone who cares to awnser this . Also please nothing rude or insulting to me or anyone else on this question thankyou .

Almost all schools do have their kids eat in the classrooms. They also don't switch classrooms. The teachers change rooms. I would know.
Also, could you say "Japanese students" or "Japanese kids" instead of "Japan kids" or "Japan students?"

Oh yes I heard that too the teachers switch rooms not the students so the kids have the same class all year. Also it is not a common tradition anywhere in this country we all eat in cafateria or rome around school . Most the kids are not allowed near classrooms during lunch most them have to sneak around to even go to clubs at lunch .

Lost in translation. I wish I could have conversations with you, but my brain blocked the language out.

It's their, not thier it's there not their.

Because of the radiation the kids have to eat in their classrooms. Once they have consumed their lunch they can go outside but only for 20 min. They are timed and then they have to go back inside.

They've always eaten in classrooms. The radiation doesn't affect that.

It's only been one year. We still have so many problems.

It used to be common in England. I remember eating in the classroom, but only at snack time. We went to the assembly hall for lunch, where a very small but somewhat obnoxious dappled didn't eat his food but instead distributed it about his environs. Mashed potato went on a spoon and got flicked at the windows, peas were put on the table and then rolled at Andy, who was making a "goal" with his fingers, carrots were given to Angela, and liver got hidden behind the piano.

Tip: Don't give liver to five year olds. Not a single one of them likes it.

At my school we didn't have a cafeteria so we ate in the class rooms. It's very normal for japanese students to bring their own lunch boxes to school, called an "obento".
I do know that some schools do have cafeterias though.

Japanese schools tend not to have a cafeteria, and they usually have single classrooms for several subjects. Students have lunch in their classroom in nearly all school in Japan.

For future reference, you should say "Japanese kids" instead of "Japan kids".

I don't mean to be offensive, but why is your spelling so poor? Do you come from a lower class background?

I think I know who this is.

First off, Japanese kids/students would've been a lot better than "Japan Kids".

I think it's perfectly normal. I used to goto a private catholic school and eat ate snack in the classroom. Snack was also eaten at the after-school program. The main meal, lunch, could only be eaten in the cafeteria or at least that's how I remembered it.
