Is it normal for liquid to come out of my nipple?

So about a week or 2 before my period begins, my breasts and nipples get sore. The issue is that I noticed my nipples glistening like it was wet. I thought it was just shinry but when I touched it, it was indeed wet. I wiped it off and a few hours later I checked and it was damp yet again. It isn't alot of liquid just enough to notice but not soak my shirt or anything like that I know it's not sweat be cause it only appears before my period decides to show up. Even when I am hot and sweaty my nipple never sweat. ( I honestly dont think it's even possible for that to happen)

What is this substance? Should I be concerned? It's not the first time I've noticed it during the week leading to my period but I got to know, is this normal?

    I don't have breasts, so I can't speak from experience.

    The website below suggests that monthly hormonal changes can result in some women having nipple discharge, so it's probably nothing to worry about. But obviously if it's something that you find worrying, you really should talk to a doctor.

    BTW, you're right: breasts can get sweaty just like any other area of your skin, but your nipples are connected to milk glands, not sweat glands, so you'll never exude sweat from the openings in your nipples.

    You dont mention your age or much other than you are female. Do you breasts get sore or tender ? Have you tried, I dont know, maybe asking your family doctor if you have one or a doctor thats does the female doctor stuff.

    i’ve never had this happen to me. i would probably google it if i were you. mines just hurt when i’m on my period
