Is it normal for me to be afraid of heights?

I kind of have reasoning for this.

First of all I'm afraid of short heights because of the pain. Let me explain:

I have this condition called Plantar fasciitis and it (I copied this part of a website that explains it) occurs when the thick band of tissue on the bottom of the foot is overstretched or overused. This can be painful and make walking more difficult.

Risk factors for plantar fasciitis include:

Foot arch problems (both flat feet and high arches)

Obesity or sudden weight gain

Long-distance running, especially running downhill or on uneven surfaces

Sudden weight gain

Tight Achilles tendon (the tendon connecting the calf muscles to the heel)

Shoes with poor arch support or soft soles

.....So yeah. So my reasoning is, if I fall off some huge tall building I'm most likely going to die. But if I fall out of a two story building, or even step off of a steep step, it hurts the hell out of my legs and heels, and then I'm probably going to have to live with the pain or injury.

Based on this information, am I normal?

I'm thinking this is more of a fear of pain than it is of heights...

I'm petrified of heights. I can't go to amusement parks anymore and I have to an antihistamine when I do plane travel.
