  • yeah, sure.. there are days when I start the training so eager and can't lift shit. And you just stand there trying to figure whether to drop weight or just push harder.

But if you're having too many "bad days" then something could be wrong, both with your mental concentration or physical performance. try boosting with Creatine, I'm a weightlifter, not a football player, but it helps me to concentrate and work through the fatigue much harder. Besides, it's an organic amino acid that your body produces anyway, so no harm if you cycle right.

Yeah but if I were you I'd talk to your coach. Most likely your coach will be eager to assist you in improving your performance if you're willing to take the initiative.

You have to put your head down, and bust your ass. These kids have years of experience on you, and the only way to overcome that is with more work, more effort, and more dedication. While they are slacking off towards the end of practice you need to be going 100%, every second of every practice, and every game, and every training session!

Also you need to know the plays better, know your job better, and know proper form better, a smart ball player is an efficient ball player.

I was in the same boat as you! I ended up gaining 30 pounds in the weight room, busting my ass for three years, and I finally got on top, starting varsity. You will get there, just never ever give up!
