Is it normal for me to tear apart my arm whenever i get mad?

Okay, whenever I get really mad, I squeeze my upper arm so hard that it goes numb. I've even ripped skin off. Seriously, when I get mad or upset, I have the urge to punch myself in the head and squeezing or ripping apart my arm is the only thing that stops me.

Try watching the teletubbies or go up a step with family guy when you get mad,it will make the dopamine levels in your brain chemistry rise causing you to have feelings of joy and hapinness. Oh but watch that only when your'e baked out of your mind

I understand how you feel. I used to scratch my forearms with my fingernails when I lost my temper. It's a form of self-harm. The next time you feel anger welling up inside you, go to your room and turn down the lights. Try listening to some calming music, like the works of Enya or Ludovico Einauldi. For added calming effects, take some body spray and saturate a pillow with it, putting your face in and breathing deeply while the music plays.
