Is it normal for me to wake up to numb hands?

This was never a problem for me before, but now for the last couple of weeks I wake up to my arm and or hands being numb. I originally thought it was just the way I was sleeping. But now I'm starting to wonder if this is a sign of a bigger problem. No matter how I fall asleep or what position I wake up in, I always have the numbness in my hands And sometimes my entire arm too. (From elbow to hand)

I also got weird neck pain that started as well. And I know that isnt from sleeping wrong because it started before I even went to bed. I was minding my business when all of a sudden left side of my neck decided to be in pain.

Is any of this normal or should I actually be concerned and go see a doctor?

See your doc. It could be several things including bilateral CTS.

Not a doctor but could be a bulging disc in your neck. Could also be if you do a very labor intense job that can happen. Obviously heroine abuse will do it too but I think youd know lol.
