Is it normal for my car to fix itself?

So... service engine light comes on. Computer reads "misfire on 5th cylinder" or something like that. Spark plugs and wires are changed. Service engine light is reset but remains lit and computer reads the same. Car still drives like shit. Car is driven for 2 or 3 days and slowly begins to run better. While car is driving, driver notices drastic improvement of car, though the engine light is still on and no additional work was done. After driver turns approaching corner, driver looks down and notices the engine light has gone off by itself, without being reset again. Is this normal?

    Funny thing, is sometimes my shit stops working for no reason. Like my car, computer and other things like the stereo and I think they're broken until I ask my father to help me and when I turn it on to show him the problems it's 100% fine, even though shit wasn't before, and I don't come across the problem again.

    does it keep going wrong and then repairing itself, or a one-time occurence? the computer is always trying to diagnose and fix problems. If it happened once after the plugs were changed, the computer just had to reset itself. It should be fine. If the problem repeats itself, then I would go back.

    LMAO I know I wrote it weird. My car has always been.... interesting. My blinker used to go out every time I'd be head to my ex-friends house, which was a house of sin. And it always seems to quit working around the time I need to talk to my dad again after an argument. Honestly, I think it is blessed. Or rather that I am blessed. I vowed to quit playing an evil radio game that was ruining my life and God, in turn, fixed my car along with my life.
