I have a cat and she is outrageously loving! She's always wanting me to pet her and it never annoys her! She never hissed at me or scratched me or bit me! The only thing she has done was given me a soft love bite! She jumps on my lap a lot and even loves sleeping next to me! She never gave me a mean look and she never once attacked me!
I'm happy for you. It a good feeling knowing that your pet is happy and with you. It sounds like she is in a safe environment and knows she can put here trust in you. Not all animals have it lucky. At this is what I think.

Oh, you should have posted a picture of her! :) my cat is like that too. He's a beautiful Birman boy and he's an ANGEL! Sure he can be naughty, but only for attention. Never have I once been bitten, scratched, or hissed at. DEFINETELY not attacked. I've only been accidentally "scratched" when he plays rough, but he's definitely a daddy's boy. He follows me around while meowing and purring like crazy and waits for me to sit or lay down so he can snuggle. I love him :)
