Is it normal for my cat to eat potato peels?

Ever since my cat was a kitten she has loved eating potato peels. Whenever i start peeling potatos she come running and starts eating the peels. My other cat doesnt do this and isnt at all phased by potato peels. Is it normal for my cat to LOVE eating potato peels? Why does she do this? Is it unhealthy for her? thank. :)

    My cat will eat nearly anything you put in front of her, probably has something to do with the fact that her previous owner never fed her. Bastard. But I digress, potato peels shouldn't harm kitty :)

    Don't worry, it's not unhealthy. I've had cats, who ate grass, cucumbers, bread and a lot of other things. There was no harm.
