Is it normal for my cat to lick my blinds?

My cat has gotten into the habbit of licking in between the metal blinds on my window. I'm not sure of it's a normal thing. Does anybody else's cat do that? Does anybody know why?

    if you have other cats yeah its licking the other cats spray up and off the blinds my cats will sometimes lick the floor where one cat has just sat down and than moved

    My cat eats plastic, rubber bands abc licks me after I get out the shower, I think she likes the way the soap smells. Never seen a cat lick blinds but they are silly creatures I can believe it. Lol

    My cat always licks the blinds to a point where you can't hear the tv!

    just be careful of the strings that make them go up and down, they can choke themselves

    Cats lick everything - if your cat starts chewing them then keep an eye

    My cat does that too and sometimes bites and tears the strings connecting the blinds.

      what how dare you. Do realize this is the internet, and we, the internet fauna, absolutely ADORE cats. I however liked cats before the internet. and I still do<3
