I adopted a black stray cat. Early on, when he stayed near me he would often try to suckle my armpit. Am I triggering his parental instincts?
if the cat was weened to early they usually like to suckle for some reason, even if they are full grown, its some kind of cat mental disorder
I don't think suckle is the right word. We had a cat like that once. He liked to sleep with his head wedged between our arms. I think because it's dark and warm :) Cats are funny little creatures.
I too have a black cat and he does that on my shirt. I think it's cause he was seperated from his mother too early
