Is it normal for my cat to walk to my room?

I am in my room then I hear her meow and she starts walking around my room then she jumps onto my bed and lies down on me to the point I could distinctively here her loud purring.

Does she do this because shes lonely? I don't get why she'd do this.

You're cat loves you, consider yourself blessed, and just go with it!

Live in gratitude, look for ways to please your feline companion. Buy her toys, give her treats, maybe hook her up with some catnip. Congratulations, your cat loves you! πŸ’“

If I get some cat nip for my cat, does that (theoretically) make me a drug dealer?

If so, she's gettin her fix and I'm putting on my Hawaiian shirt and reciting Tony Montana quotes all night long XD

1st rule of Cat "ownership": The cat is in control... and it decides what it wants to do... You are there only to enable the cat to do what the cat wants to do.

2nd rule of Cat "ownership": You must learn to enjoy you servitude to the cat.

  • Aww cats are the best and this post is a good reason why! You can clearly tell she wants to be around you, and her purring is like she's saying she loves being around you

They purr at a 432 Hz, which tesla says is like a magic frequency. Science says it's soothing for a cat and helps their muscles, so her purring on you let's you feel that too

I'm moving into an apartment soon and I'm getting a cat day 1! Gonna go to a shelter and see which ones speak to me. I'm probably gonna cry a lot that day 😹

Omg!!! Purr hz made my day : D

You are so goddamn cute & wonderful. Did you know that it's been scientifically proven that cat purrs lower people's heart rate & blood pressure?

You're gonna be a great cat mom. I think you should snatch up one of the old one's. My cat was an "adult cat" and "an unadoptable" when I got her & she has just gifted me with so much love.

If you need help with cat names I'm here for you...maybe "waffle stomp" or "lunchbox" or "lt. Dan"

      • Oh I'm gonna be the best cat mom ever! I had one when I was younger but I had to leave her behind. Her name was Minnie Bella Pepper, couldn't decide on one name. When I was feeling extra I would call her Minimus Bellatrix Paprika ☺

I would feel good about getting an older cat, but the cat I pick out, I dunno there's gonna be some spiritual connection right away, I'll probably see something in their eyes

        And you're really quite charming~
I'm not a girl by the way, as much as I act like one πŸ˜„ it'll be close to Halloween when I get my kitty, I might need help naming her or him

Lt. Dan is a great contender, though. I used to mimic Forest's lines as a kid, like "life's like a box of chocolates" it'd be really fun to call for my kitty as emphatically as Forest did near the end of the movie πŸ˜‹

    Normal cat attention-seeking behaviour.

My wife and daughter have been away for a few weeks, and our cats are making real pests of themselves. Since I'm the only human in the house, they're regularly yowling at me, trying to sit on my keyboard and just generally being a nuisance until I give them at least five minutes of stroking and tummy-rubs.

"Cat attention seeking behavior" is quite literally the most redundant phrase I've ever read in my life. Congrats, I guess?

It's trying to steal your soul. Or your body heat.

Why does your cat want to cuddle with you? Is it a serious question?
    You sound emotionally detached.
