My dog tries to hump my step dad and my dog is male and also humps the male cat. Is this normal?

    yes, it is normal. being fixed doesnt matter, most of the time it is a case of aserting dominance. i would not let him do this for the reason that he will think that hes in chrge of you when it is the other way around

    It happens if they were fixed AFTER they adopted this behavior. If done early enough you won't see it unless they learn it from another pet- yes they learn behaviors

    It's normal. My dog is also fixed and he will hump people and get erections if he's extremely happy. It happens.
