Is it normal for my dog to miss me after 2 minutes without me?

My yorkie Molly, she is 3, If I leave to walk down the street to get mail wich takes about 4 minutes, I'm walking to the door and she is scracting at then door and whinning and just cant wait till I get inside, when I get inside she is jusmping on my legs begging for me to pick her up when i do she licks my face like crazy for 3 minutes minimum, when i put her down she will run around begging for me to run around with her and play with her.

  • You people who allow your freakin' dogs to become so dependent on you that they think they can't survive even a short time without you shouldn't be allowed to own a dog. What if you have to go to the hospital, or be out of town on an emergency? The person looking after your whining, crying dog is going to lose patience and either beat the sh*t out of it or kill it. I've heard of a LOT of people with badly behaved dogs who had to leave them with someone in an emergency and the dog was "accidentally" injured or killed.
