Is it normal for my female dog to combatively hump my foot regularly?

She'll come at me out of nowhere like a bat out of hell, grab on "best she can" with her two front paws, mount my foot and unleash a series of violent thrusts to my shin then take off.

Also, she'll regularly come over to me while im in bed and nonchalantly plant her hoo-hee on my big toe whilst staring me down before going at it hard. If I try to reclaim my foot she starts to growl and show teeth. After she was spayed months ago I thought this behavior would stop but it has since intensified and well... I'm genuinely concerned.

The love I have for my dog is pure and profound; She's a sweet, cunning little varmint but is it normal for her to have this strange foot humping obsession?

This is about dominance, not sex. Who's the leader of the pack, you or the dog?

When I was a 6 my family got a Yorshire Terrier called Alfie and he used to do that to my brother. Weird... because the dog was a boy and my brother. Anyway he is dead now. :(

She's probably just a male dog trapped in a female body. Get her counselling or look into doggie SRS, she'll thank you for it (by humping your foot).

I've actually seen female dogs hump stuff before. I was shocked because that isn't something that they do during mating, obviously because the male is supposed to do it. There's plenty of pet-related sites on the Internet where you could inquire about this. Or you could tell your vet about it.
