I used to use a liquid called an "astringent" when I was a teenager with oily skin .... maybe it was witch hazel? I'm going back quite a few years here .... Ask a pharmacist, they should know.
If you're young, oily skin is hormone related, like acne, and will probably go away as you get older, but in the meantime try the above, also just washing. If you have a fringe (bangs in the US I think?) that can make it worse I reckon.
It's normal bur unusual. It's a blessing and a curse. Oily skin lives you with enlarged pores as we age. But we look FABULOUS WHEN WE'RE 60!
Wash it with a wet washcloth. Keep rubbing it on your face until your skin doesn't feel oily anymore.
Just growing up I guess. I suppose you just have to shower more regularly.
Whenever I got a 'egg' on my head as a child from falling over, my mum used to rub butter on it. hah
So your asking if its normal for your forehead to be oily after you put something oily on it? Because then yes if you put something oily on your forehead it will be oily.
however not normal to wash with butter...try soap and water
