Is it normal for my guy best friend to say he loves me every day?

So my best guy friend and I have known each other for about two years and we have become very close. It used to be a love hate thing between us but lately he has opened up to me a lot. We talk like everyday and things are really open between us. Each time were done talking he always says I love you, or love ya, or wuv you, or <333 and I say it back. But is this normal because I've never had a best guy friend before.

    I've had a few girl-friends. When I saw things picking up, I'd ask the one I was dating if was a problem. If so, I dropped them. Jealousy and paranoia would kill it anyway. Girlfriends come and go. True friends are hard to find.

    That's what me and my guyfriend did, now we are dating because he liked me more than a friend, and so did I :)

    I'm a guy, and my best friend in the world is a girl. We still end our conversations with '<3's and 'love you's. It's friend-love, which is often just as great as the other sort of love.

    Two of my good males friends tell me they love me. They mean it, but not romantically.

    I wouldn't worry about your situation too much, but i guess you could ask him. Who knows what he might feel.

    Its normal. My bestfriend is a girl and im a guy. I tell her i love her too but its a diferent kind of love

    I think it's normal, but it wouldn't hurt to ask him. It was like that with a girl who I was good friends with a while back, too, and I know I had no feelings like that for her.
