i noticed lately that one of my kittens has been chasing my other two kittens down to lick their private parts while growling. He will lick for a very long time. It disgusts me that he is molesting his siblings. Is it normal?
It's not always for cleaning. It can also be for getting the other's scent. It's like when dogs want to sniff your junk. It's where your scent is strongest.
my puppies used to do that too, but what happened is that they were weened too early, so what they were really doing was looking or the nipple to suck on, but she would find her sisters private instead. so every time I saw that, I would redirect her, if she wanted to eat, to her milk or food dish. she got the hang of it after a while.
